Last week reports emerged on the Cultwatch Blog that Robert Zink's Order of the Morning Star changed its name to the Esoteric Order of the Golden Dawn in the wake of last Summer's Cult rape and kidnapping scandal involving the Order of the Morning Star in Durham, NC.

EOGD members were quick to point out that the arrested Order of the Morning Star Chiefs, Joy Johnson and Joseph Craig were Satanists and to claim that they have no relationship to Robert Zink or to his Order of the Morning Star that changed its name to EOGD immediately following the arrest of the OMS Co-Chiefs.

This is, however, not the first time that Robert Zink's order has been accused of Satanic cult-like activities. Indeed, their own website includes extremely suspicious denials that they practice blood sacrifice in their Golden Dawn rituals.

Robert Zink Introduces Blood Sacrifice into

Golden Dawn Rituals

Let us examine Robert Zink's denial that his order has introduced blood sacrifice into Golden Dawn rituals. Robert Zink writes:

The claim that we practice any form of blood sacrifice is absurd and misleading; first of all, he offers no clear description of what he believes is in fact, being practiced by the Esoteric Order of the Golden Dawn, he makes only one vague reference to it being dangerous and adjacent to Satanism. We will never endorse in any way asking anyone to do anything contrary to their civil, moral or religious duties; we vehemently repudiate the very notion of practicing blood sacrifice; this has never been within the corpus of tradition as handed down through S.L. Macgregor Mathers, and we strictly adhere to these traditions. Blood sacrifices have never been, nor is it, nor will it ever be practiced by the Esoteric Order of the Golden Dawn, nor has this ever been practiced under the name Hermetic Order of the Morning Star; Mr. Zink nor any of his associates would in any way endorse the practice of blood sacrifices. The Esoteric Order of the Golden Dawn will never, in way ask anyone to do anything contrary to their civil, moral or religious duties in any ritual or practice. In fact, the chiefs of the Esoteric Order of the Golden Dawn, fully endorse and will ardently defend, anyone's right and duty to refuse any act, ritual or practice that they feel to be in any way incongruent with their civil, moral or religious duties.

Let us examine the disingenuousness of Robert Zink's assertion that:

Blood sacrifices have never been, nor is it, nor will it ever be practiced by the Esoteric Order of the Golden Dawn, nor has this ever been practiced under the name Hermetic Order of the Morning Star; Mr. Zink nor any of his associates would in any way endorse the practice of blood sacrifices.

In order to understand how misleading this carefully worded denial actually is, the reader must first consider that the order led by Robert Anthony Zink has changed its name over the years like a chameleon changes colors. It has been called the "Eternal Golden Dawn," the "Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn International," the "Hermetic Order of the Morning Star" and the "Esoteric Order of the Golden Dawn." Likewise, Robert Zink himself uses a plethora of aliases, which include "The Amazing Zinga," "G.H. Frater P.C.A.," "G.H. Frater P.D.R.," "zanoni49," and "rapiddominance."

The careful wording of the above denial only becomes understandable when one first considers that Robert Zink is aware of the evidence documenting his introduction of blood sacrifice into Golden Dawn rituals of the is has been available to download free on the internet. Zink also knows that this evidence comes from the original compilation of materials for the curriculum and rituals of Robert Zink's order. Thus, Zink carefully states that blood sacrifice is not practiced by either HOMSI or the EOGD, because he knows that the evidence predates his order using either of these names! Moreover, his claim that:

Robert Zink would never endorse any sort of blood sacrifice

is equally disingenuous, since Zink knows that the evidence links his alias, GH Frater P.C.A., to the introduction of blood sacrifice into the rituals, rather his civil name, Robert Zink. Thus, the apparently clear denials, when examined carefully, disintegrate into a puddle of disingenuousness and deception.

On another occasions, Robert Zink has alternatively argued that the rituals produced as evidence have somehow been altered or changed to include blood sacrifice. This argument is equally false and unsupported by the facts. On the contrary, the documents are completely authentic and date from the earliest phase of Robert Zink's order. The documents were provided by one of the original compilers of the material and have not been changed or altered in any way.

Additionally, the authenticity of these documents has been independently verified by several former Adepts of Robert Zink's order. Moreover, the evidence of blood sacrifice included in the documents is corroborated by the testimony of former Adepts of Zink's order as well, who still have the scars on their clavicles to prove it.

The Adeptus Minor initiation ritual of the Golden Dawn, with its Egyptian, Rosicrucian, and Christian symbolism is one of the most beautiful and sublime rituals of the entire curriculum of the order. It is also the introduction to the HOGD's second order, the RR+AC. Sadly, Robert Zink's "Esoteric Order of the Golden Dawn" has introduced not only blood sacrifice, but the ritual flogging and scarring of candidates as well into this originally magnificent ritual.

Robert Zink's own words (writing under his known alias as G.H. Frater P.C.A.) indicate that he is personally responsible for the introduction of blood sacrifice into this ritual. The EOGD document entitled

Analysis of the 5=6 Initiation., RR+AC, Zelator Adeptus Minor, by GH Frater P.C.A

is available in the originally compiled 5=6 material of Robert Zink's order as "1-3.pdf." In his analysis of his order's version of the Adeptus Minor initiation ritual, Robert Zink attempts to justify this unethical and dangerous deviation, when he writes:

The Cut

In the tradition of the ancients, blood must be shed. It symbolizes that our Adepts now mix or pull their blood together as one.

Let us now examine the text of the Adeptus Minor ritual itself, as revised for use by Robert Zink's order. Particularly noteworthy are the inclusions of ritual flogging and blood sacrifice. The Zink version of this ritual, entitled "RR et AC 32.Doc, Adeptus Minor Initiation, RR et AC" is available in the originally compiled 5=6 material for Zink's order as "adeptrit.pdf" and reads as follows on pages 31-34:

Chief: "Now is the final consecration in the tradition of the ancients. We seal this rite with the most mystical mark, the mark of membership of the Roseae Rubeae et Aurea Cruces."

(Hodos removes the aspirant's robe to let him receive the mark.)

Third Adept (hands the razor blade to the Chief.)

Chief: "The cut that you are to receive upon your clavicle is symbolic of the neck, which is also symbolic of the void that you must cross for the achievement of the Great Work and the uniting with your Higher Genius. It is also symbolical of the blood that you are willing to shed to defend this Order and the principles of Divine Light. Let the blood that drips from your wound symbolically mix with the blood that has been previously shed by the Adepti that have gone before you. May it also be the reminder that you must never shed the blood of any of your Brethren of the R.R et A.C. either by word, action or by the sword. Finally, let the blood that pours forth from the wound be a reminder that should you ever turn against what you know to be is your True Will, the Brethren of the R.R. et A.C., the Chiefs of the Second Order and the Guardians both Angelic and physical that guard the Order, may all of your magical powers cease and may your blood be shed. Do you understand, and do you
agree to this most solemn pledge?" (Chief places the cut upon the aspirant).

Here we see that Robert Zink has introduced both ritual bloodshed and the scarring of candidates into GD rituals. These deviations, however, do not appear to satisfy Robert Zink's perversions, however, since he has also included a sado-masochistic twist into the Adeptus Minor ritual as well. On page 12 of the same, above referenced manuscript, the candidate is required to submit to ritual flogging as follows:

Second: "O aspirant, ere thou canst enter the Tomb of the Adepti of the Rose of Ruby and the Cross of Gold, it is necessary to take a solemn obligation of secrecy, fidelity, fraternity, and justice. But as in all the previous obligations, there is nothing contained therein contrary to thy civil, moral, or religious duties.

Art thou willing to take such a pledge?"

Aspirant: "I am."

(Hodos pulls up aspirant's robe over the head.)

Second: "Are you willing to receive the stripes upon your back as a symbol of your willingness to martyr your flesh in the protection of this Order?"

(Aspirant answers.)

Hodos: (Removes the robe. Using the whip, he lashes the aspirant 10 times which is symbolic of the 10 sephiroth.)

Second Adept: "Let the aspirant be bound to the Cross of Suffering."

Nowhere in Golden Dawn rituals or teachings are any instances whatsoever of blood sacrifice, ritual scarring, or the sado-masochistic flogging of candidates. All of these deviations and perversions have been introduced exclusively into Robert Zink's order.

Finally, let us examine the EOGD document entitled "Ritual 5, RR et AC, Zelator Adeptus Minor, 5=6," which is available in the originally compiled 5=6 material for Robert Zink's order as "zam21.pdf." "Ritual 5" begins innocently enough, with adaptations of classical magical formulae traditionally associated with the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. The first indication that this ritual might not be as traditional as it first appears, however, comes already on page 2 of the above referenced manuscript, where among the items required for the ritual, "razor blades"
are listed. The ritual begins with an adaptation of purification and consecration of the temple with water and fire, followed by an invocation of the elements using traditional pentagrams, Qabalistic names, and sigils.

Things take a more sinister turn, however, as "Ritual 5" reaches its crescendo on pages 12 and 13, when the officiating Chief Adept invokes aggressive Martial forces using the Qabalistic names Elohim Gibor and Kamael. This sets the stage for the blood sacrifice so typical of Robert Zink's order, this time, however, for the magical purpose of desecrating and destroying enemies! This is documented on pages 12-13 of the above referenced manuscript contained in "zam21.pdf" as follows:

LL: "I am Frater/Soror _________ of the R.R. et A.C., loyal Adept and subject unto the infinite mercy and power of Light."

(Cuts self.)

"In the name of the Vast and Mighty One, in the name of all the gods who symbolically stand guard around this Temple and Order, in the name of Elohim Gibor, the Mighty and Terrible One, I shed this blood as a symbol of the blood that must not be shed by those who would interpose against my will and service to Divine Light."

(Returns to position.)

(When all have finished the invocation and the cutting, all Adepts move around the Altar of the Universe and touch the sword that is held up high while saying in unison:)

All: "You who would destroy me, be thou destroyed! You who would desecrate this Temple or Order by intentional acts of malice, be thou desecrated! By all the forces and powers invoked here this day, and by the power of the blood of the Rose, as it is desired, so shall it be!"

(All move back to original positions.)

Thus we see, in evidence presented from original EOGD/EGD documents that, despite Robert Zink's vacuous denials, he has indeed included in Golden Dawn rituals not only blood-sacrifice, but the ritual scarring and flogging of candidates as well.

Moreover, due to the destructive intention of the blood sacrifice included in "Ritual 5," Zink has deviated the teachings and rituals of the Golden Dawn in a decidedly black magical direction. The blood sacrifice with black magical intent of "Ritual 5," makes Robert Zink's order members that their order has anything to do with Satanism sound vacuous.

Robert Zink: Golden Dawn Sexual Predator or New Age Guru?

This week the Golden Dawn Flame Wars unfortunately broke out openly in full force again. It seems that the latest flames were fanned by the the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn's revelation that Robert Zink looks for things that sell on the New Age market, then gives them a new names, and a glamourous website to manufacture new flimflams.
Here is a partial list of Robert Zink's latest New Age schemes the Golden Dawn revealed.

1. Classical Golden Dawn initiation has become Robert Zink's "Astral Initiation" scheme (esotericgoldendawn.com)
2. Reiki - repackaged as Robert Zink's "Ruach Healing." (ruachhealing.com)
3. The Secret - gets transformed into Robert Zink's "The Guarantee" (theguarantee.info)
4. Angel Cards - has become Robert Zink's "The Power or Angels." (thepowerofangels.com)
5. NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) is renamed as Robert Zink's "Neuro Linguistic Alchemy." (personal-magic.com)
6. Life Coaching - is gets new names as Robert Zink's "Miracle Mentor" and "Alchemy Life Coach." (personal-magic.com)
7. And Mr. Zink has even started a New Age subliminal CD business -"Increase Your Psychic Power While You Sleep" (increaseyourpsychicpower.com).

The Golden Dawn Blog then ended with the rhetorical question:

With Robert Zink selling everything from New Age snake oil to the kitchen sink ... and rebranding everything from Reiki to the Golden Dawn - as Robert Zink's own personal schemes - who can possibly still take Robert Zink's Astral Initation "Golden Dawn" scam seriously?

From all appearances, this seems to have hit a sensitive nerve. Robert Zink's EOGD propaganda machine immediately went into overdrive on EOGD's forum, spewing out attack upon attack on the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn.
First Robert Zink accused the HOGD of "personally attacking" him for exposing his New Age rackets. Then Robert Zink's EOGD Flame War machine went into high gear with nearly 30 new posts attacking the Golden Dawn and its leaders on only a couple of days.
In one of the more rational rational posts, Frater IC of EOGD wrote:

There is a difference between feeling abused because someone disagrees with you and feeling abused because someone is taking personal jabs at your human dignity. A response to accusation is not a personal attack. An expression of disagreement is not a personal attack.

This led to HOGD's "Soror Shekinah" pointing out that Robert Zink himself has been "personally attacking" ALL Golden Dawn groups and orders for years, for example, in publishing pages with destructive and false rumors about a non-existent "Golden Dawn Nazi connection" and "dangerous megalomaniacs" on his EOGD website and blog. She also pointed out how the EOGD forum archives contain almost 1,500 forum posts attacking Golden Dawn groups and their leaders and reminding everyone that Mr. Zink was caught already publishing anonymous websites personally attacking other Golden Dawn groups and their leaders with outrageously libelous material.
Robert Zink's "personal attack" claim blew up in his face when a social worker named Mary Williamson got involved in the debate. Ms. Williamson reminded everyone of the skeleton in Robert Zink's closet, asking:

Is Outing A Sexual Predator A "Personal Attack"?

Responding to EOGD's Frater IC's above cited post, Mary Williamson wrote:

Dear Frater IC,
I am a survivor of childhood sexual abuse by a male authority figure. I am therefore very concerned with protecting children from sexual abuse. I therefore have what I consider to be a very important question for you.
Do you consider it to be a "personal attack" for me to say that Robert Zink has a proven history as a sexual predator? Why? Do you not believe this is relevant and important information for the public to know especially about the head of an esoteric order?
I assume you realize why convicted sexual predators are required by law to be registered in most states. It is to protect other children because most men who sexually abuse children become repeat offenders.
Even in cases where the perpetrator managed to escape justice because both the victim and her family decided not to press charges, should the public not be made aware of this abuse anyway, in order to protect other innocent children? Especially when there exists solid evidence that the abuse actually did occur, as in the case of Robert Zink (the birth certificate of a child sired on a minor daughter of an Esoteric Order of the Golden Dawn member)?
So, in your opinion, is it a "personal attack" to alert the public about a danger of their children being sexually abused before they decide to join the Esoteric Order of the Golden Dawn?
I can understand that the grown-up victim of the first known sexual assault may feel that publishing this information is an attack on her or her family, but she is grown up and out of danger now. Is it not more important to protect other children who might be in danger of sexual assault by Robert Zink today?
How can we know that the children of other members of the Esoteric Order of the Golden Dawn are not being sexually abused by Robert Zink right now? How else can we protect these children? Certainly not by remaining silent or covering up what happened in the past.

You calling Robert Zink a sexual predator would not be a personal attack if it were true. You want history, look at the history of his marriage which has stood the test of time.

Mary Williamson replied:

Dear J.C.,
Whether or not Mr. Zink today still has a relationship with the victim he sexually abused as a child is irrelevant to the present discussion. The fact remains, Mr. Zink DID abuse her. This is well established fact. Since, like Rafaela, I was sexually abused when a child I have great empathy for her. I can understand Rafaela she wants to protect her abuser, especially because he is still in relationship with him today. I can even understand how Rafaela might feel personally attacked, but this not at all personal.
This is about trying to PROTECT CHILDREN of other EOGD members from being sexually assaulted like Rafaela was. Mr. Zink is still today in the same position that he ABUSED to molest Rafaela and most experts agree that 90% of all child molesters are repeat offenders. Who will protect today's children of EOGD members from Robert Zink if what happened to Rafaela is just forgotten or swept under the rug?
So, whereas, I certainly can understands how Rafaela feels that this is a personal attack, she must understand that this is not about her. It is about protecting the underaged children of Golden Dawn members TODAY.

Robert Zink himself then wrote:

Here is another pink gorilla. "Sexual Predator." Well, I coached a baseball team called the Predators, but this is one of those pink gorillas that not only look scary, but the very words sound scary. These are words designed to scare people away from examining your work, your writings, or the Order you are involved with. The more you can scream these words, the more people you can attract by default if nothing else
Okay, I hate pink gorillas
Now, I think you know that there are people in those gorilla costumes, and they want to scare you. But this is a fact, neither local nor federal agencies have ever even investigated me for the horrible accusations that those in their gorilla outfits want you to believe.

To which Mary Williamson replied:

I might have felt inclined to give Mr. Zink the benefit of the doubt, were it not for his post today where he actually makes fun of my concern as nothing but "pink gorillas." It is Robert Zink's complete lack of remorse that is most disconcerting. There is always a chance of reform when perpetrators take full responsibility for their actions. But when they try to minimize and make light of what they did instead, it is usually the best indication to keep an watchful eye on them anywhere near children!

EOGD's Frater IC then responded:

Clearly, there are many examples of authority figures in all types of institutions who use their influence to commit horrible crimes of sexual abuse. Were there to exist any fraternal order or group whose leader was convicted of sexual assault, exposing such a person may be a personal attack, but it would certainly be a justified one. However, to accuse Mr. Zink of such a crime is not only an unjustified personal attack. It is also a libelous one, because the facts clearly prove such accusations to be plainly an unequivocally false.
The argument is that his (Mr. Zink's son's) birth date proves that the child's mother, Mr. Zink's current wife of nearly 15 years, was under the age of 18. Therefore, they scream "statutory rape" and "sexual predator" because these words are very scary. However, this is the perfect example of a culturally ambiguous charge that does a true disservice to victims of sex crimes everywhere. (snip)
Not only has Mr. Zink never been convicted of a sex crime, neither has there ever been charges brought against him. Because there are absolutely no charges to bring up. My heart truly goes out to victims of sexual assault. That is why I find this plainly false accusation against Mr. Zink to be an absolute disgrace and a blatant disservice to victims of sexual assault everywhere.

Mary Williamson then replied:

Today, I have witnessed numerous attempts on the EOGD forum to justify the sexual abuse of the underage daughters of EOGD members. I was shocked to read EOGD members arguing that since no charges were ever brought against Mr. Zink, he can not be a sexual predator. Nothing could be further from the truth!
In fact, most sexual predators are never brought to justice. This, however, in no way justifies child sexual abuse.
I was even more shocked to read attempts to justify Mr. Zink's child sexual abuse of daughter of an EOGD member with the lame arguments that "in certain cultures if is culturally acceptable to have sex with 14-16 year olds."
I am more concerned than ever for the safety of children of EOGD members today due not only to bizarre arguments from EOGD members trying to justify Mr. Zink's attack.
Mr. Zink also posted and I am even more concerned by Mr. Zink's total lack of remorse.
In the past, Mr. Zink first attempted even to deny that there ever was an attack, saying:

"...that this couple's relationship began when she (the underaged victim) was fifteen years of age is unequivocally false."

The victim's Mother, Rita Pulera, responded by posting:

"Hello, Catherine (Campbell, former EOGD Chief): It's been awhile, hasn't it? I am happy to hear that Rafaela is doing so well. I wouldn't know. I was hoping all of you would leave Rafaela out of it. But you haven't. How dare you! Rafalea was only 16 when her relationship with Robert began. Let me set that straight. And if you want to contest her mother, go right ahead. I did not give Robert any consent to sleep with my daughter. He just took it on himself. Rafaela, I am sorry. I have to do this now. You see, Catherine, Robert did a Bowl of Desire on Rafaela so he could take her she was still attending Rosary High School. So it was not okay. She had to drop out of high school because of the pregnancy, and to this day has never been allowed to finish her schooling. Why don't you have some shred of decency and leave my daughter and her son out of it? The reason I never pressed charges was to protect my daughter, my grandson and myself from the threats."

So, we see that, according to the testimony of the victim's Mother, not only did Robert Zink sexually abuse her underage daughter, but he also used black magic to do so!
After she made the above posts, the EOGD forum attempted to demonize the victim's Mother, Rita Pulera, like they are doing with me today, accusing her of lying. The indignant Mother therefore published the following undeniable evidence:
The Certificate of Live Births provided by the victim's Mother (State of California, Certificate No. 104-19436025010, dated December 8, 2004) clearly shows that sexual predator Robert Anthony Zink (born February 26, 1953) is the father of the child sired upon his unfortunate, sixteen year old victim. According the birth certificate, the victim gave birth to perpetrator Zink's son on November 18, 1994 and the victim was born on April 4, 1997.
This birth certificate corroborates the testimony of the victim's Mother and demonstrates conclusively that the victim was only fifteen to sixteen years old when Mr. Zink (about 40 years old at the time) first sexually assaulted then impregnated her on or about February18, 1994.
This was a clear act of statutory rape according to the laws of the State of California. The birth certificate further proves that the victim was still a minor even when she gave birth when on November 18, 1994. In the State of California, where the attack occured, it is a CRIME to have sex with a minor under age 18, whether or not it is ever brought to trial.

To which EOGD London's John responded:

I have worked in a professional capacity with perpetrators of rape and sexual abuse for over ten years of my career as a therapist in high, medium and low secure services and I have managed Forensic Mental Health services in the UK.
This career has been extremely challenging and also from a magical perspective I have found dealing with the dark energies in these settings has taught me a lot. Victims suffer terribly and I think it it extremely disrespectful to them for someone in any of the occult forums to make allegations of rape that are blatantly untrue in a defamatory way. I have considerable experience of the psychological profiles of the perpetrators of rape and I can quite categorically say that IN NO WAY does Mr Zink even remotely resemble these characters. To accuse him of such is clearly slanderous and defamatory.
Whomever has made these suggestions does not deserve to be part of the Golden Dawn occult community. She really does not know what she is suggesting. If she went to work in a forensic psychiatric setting I hope she would change her tune.
I have spent enough time with Mr Zink and his family to know they are really superb people and they have a great relationship. They are both amazing adepts and superb examples of leadership and dedication in the occult community. I would trust either of them implicitly. I admire their considerable and consistent hard graft that makes the Esoteric Order of the Golden Dawn happen. They are a tribute to SL MacGregor Mathers and he would be incredibly proud of them and how they have built on the Golden Dawn temples in the USA and made it available worldwide.
To Robert and your family - you have my full support and backing. The slander is unfounded and illogical. Let's get on with the Great Work and leave the mud slingers in the mud until they are ready to act respectfully and responsibly.

Hello John,
First of all whether I deserve to be a part of any Golden Dawn esoteric community is irrelevant. I am not a member of any Golden Dawn group and nor do I want to be, so I am not a party to any side in this discussion. My concern is not for this group or that group. My only concern is for protecting children from childhood sexual abuse.
I must admit my frustration that none of my responses to all of these "personal attacks" on "me" on the EOGD forum have ever been allowed to appear in that venue. Unless you read other fora, therefore, you will not even get to see this response from me. EOGD leadership appears to be trying to cover up everything but its own spin.
I have clearly stated from the beginning of this discussion that I am a childhood sexual abuse survivor.
Moreover, I have worked for child protective services and have worked with women in recovery from rape, incest, and childhood sexual abuse for 22 and a half years now.
My own recovery has been a long and difficult journey, as has been of the hundreds of women whom I have worked with over the years, many of whom today still remain unable to sustain normal, healthy relationships because of what they endured as children.
As such, I must say that , if you do indeed work as a forensic psychiatrist, the above post is a shining example of gross professional negligence.
I am shocked that you would abuse your professional position to try to sweep Robert Zink's proven sexual assault of the underaged child of one of his order members under the carpet with a cheap character reference.
I am even more shocked that members of the Esoteric Order of the Golden Dawn seem willing even to abuse their professional positions to try to sweep child sexual abuse under the rug. This is behavior that I have seen before but only when working with survivors of cult or ritual sexual abuse. This is, to me, yet another red flag and important warning sign.
I must caution therefore all members of the Esoteric Order of the Golden Dawn to be extremely careful with their children around, EOGD leader, Robert Zink.
I am further alarmed by your "personal attacks" on me. You call me a "mud slinger", and accuse me of "slander" and "defamation", merely because I stand up for the rights of underaged girls not to be sexually abused merely because their Mothers belong to a ritual group!
This does not surprise me either. It is not the first time that someone has tried to scapegoat me for standing up for the rights of children. This often occurs in dysfunctional families or organizations, for example, when a Mother tries to protect the perpetrator by blaming the victimized child or the social worker who is trying to protect them.
If you analyze my posts carefully, however, all I have actually done is to raise a red flag and point out that all of EOGD attempts to justify and defend the child sexual abuse perpetrated group leader, by Robert Zink, are extremely alarming in themselves.
I do not care that Mr. Zink is a little league coach. I do not care even if Robert Zink brings in an army of character witnesses.
IT IS STILL NOT OK TO SEXAULLY ABUSE CHILDREN. Whether the child is 2, 4, 8, 12, 14, or 16 years old. It is simply NOT OK to do this.
And it is even less OK when a perpetrator abuses a position of trust and authority to sexually abuse a child.
Whether he is a cult leader, or the leader of a ritual group like Mr. Zink, or even a Catholic priest. THIS IS SIMPLY NOT APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR.
It is shocking that Robert Zink does not even acknowledge this.
And even more shocking to watch EOGD members rally around their leader and try to justify this sick behavior.
I must, for these specific reasons, counsel anyone with children to be extremely careful with the EOGD and around its leader, Mr. Robert Zink.
This is not because I have any sort of ax to grind. It is because all of these things together paint a picture that raises legitimate concerns for the safety of their children.
Finally, John, you say:

"This career has been extremely challenging and also from a magical perspective I have found dealing with the dark energies in these settings has taught me a lot. Victims suffer terribly and I think it it extremely disrespectful to them for someone in any of the occult forums to make allegations of rape that are blatantly untrue in a defamatory way."

The gist of Califonia (where the abuse occured) defamation law is that the statements of fact made by the writer or publisher falsely injure the reputation etc. of the party written about. California Civil Code section 45 provides in part is as follows:

45. Libel is a false and unprivileged publication by writing, printing, picture, effigy, or other fixed representation to the eye, which exposes any person to hatred, contempt, ridicule, or obloquy, or which causes him to be shunned or avoided, or which has a tendency to injure him in his occupation.45a. A libel which is defamatory of the plaintiff without the necessity of explanatory matter, such as an inducement, innuendo or other extrinsic fact, is said to be a libel on its face. Defamatory language not libelous on its face is not actionable unless the plaintiff alleges and proves that he has suffered special damage as a proximate result thereof. Special damage is defined in Section 48a of this code.

Accusing me of defamation without any justification is a personal attack on "me" and yet another example of gross professional negligence on your part. Whether or not any charges were ever filed, since the previously cited birth certificate corroborates the testimony of the victim's Mother and demonstrates conclusively that the victim was only fifteen to sixteen years old when Mr. Zink (about 40 years old at the time) first sexually assaulted then impregnated her on or about February18, 1994.
This was a clear act of statutory rape according to the laws of the State of California. The birth certificate further proves that the victim was still a minor even when she gave birth when on November 18, 1994. In the State of California, where the attack occured, it is a CRIME to have sex with a minor under age 18, whether or not it is ever brought to trial.
Here are the relevant sections of the California Penal Code:

CALIFORNIA PENAL CODE
SECTION 261-269

261.5. (a) Unlawful sexual intercourse is an act of sexual intercourse accomplished with a person who is not the spouse of the perpetrator, if the person is a minor. For the purposes of this section, a "minor" is a person under the age of 18 years and an "adult" is a person who is at least 18 years of age.
(b) Any person who engages in an act of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor who is not more than three years older or three years younger than the perpetrator, is guilty of a misdemeanor.
(c) Any person who engages in an act of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor who is more than three years younger than
the perpetrator is guilty of either a misdemeanor or a felony, and shall be punished by imprisonment in a county jail not exceeding one
year, or by imprisonment in the state prison.
(d) Any person over the age of 21 years who engages in an act of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor who is under 16 years of age is guilty of either a misdemeanor or a felony, and shall be punished by imprisonment in a county jail not exceeding one year, or by imprisonment in the state prison for two, three, or four years.
(e) (1) Notwithstanding any other provision of this section, an adult who engages in an act of sexual intercourse with a minor in
violation of this section may be liable for civil penalties in the following amounts:
(A) An adult who engages in an act of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor less than two years younger than the adult is liable for a civil penalty not to exceed two thousand dollars ($2,000).
(B) An adult who engages in an act of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor at least two years younger than the adult is liable for a civil penalty not to exceed five thousand dollars ($5,000).
(C) An adult who engages in an act of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor at least three years younger than the adult is liable for a civil penalty not to exceed ten thousand dollars ($10,000).
(D) An adult over the age of 21 years who engages in an act of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor under 16 years of age is liable for a civil penalty not to exceed twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000).
(2) The district attorney may bring actions to recover civil penalties pursuant to this subdivision. From the amounts collected for each case, an amount equal to the costs of pursuing the action shall be deposited with the treasurer of the county in which the judgment was entered, and the remainder shall be deposited in the Underage Pregnancy Prevention Fund, which is hereby created in the State Treasury. Amounts deposited in the Underage Pregnancy
Prevention Fund may be used only for the purpose of preventing underage pregnancy upon appropriation by the Legislature.
261.6. In prosecutions under Section 261, 262, 286, 288a, or 289, in which consent is at issue, "consent" shall be defined to mean positive cooperation in act or attitude pursuant to an exercise of free will. The person must act freely and voluntarily and have knowledge of the nature of the act or transaction involved.
A current or previous dating or marital relationship shall not be sufficient to constitute consent where consent is at issue in a prosecution under Section 261, 262, 286, 288a, or 289. Nothing in this section shall affect the admissibility of evidence or the burden of proof on the issue of consent.
261.7. In prosecutions under Section 261, 262, 286, 288a, or 289, in which consent is at issue, evidence that the victim suggested, requested, or otherwise communicated to the defendant that the defendant use a condom or other birth control device, without additional evidence of consent, is not sufficient to constitute consent.

I must conclude that evidence is substantial that Robert Zink, as leader of the Esoteric Order of the Golden Dawn, did indeed abuse the trust of his position as leader of EOGD to sexually abuse the under-aged daughter of then EOGD member, Rita Pulera.

According to the Mother, the seduction involved ritual abuse through black magic. Finally, certain members of the Esoteric Order of the Golden Dawn today appear intent to sweep the entire manner under the rug, in a cult-like sense of loyalty to their charismatic leader.

I find it shocking that Robert Zink and certain EOGD members are personally attacking Ms. Williamson merely for attempting to protect innocent children from sexual abuse.

I find it horrific that Mr. Zink has shown no remorse for his misdeeds and has personally atacked Ms. Williamson instead.

I find it extremely disconcerting that certain EOGD members appear intent to justify and defend the abhorrent behavior of their leader, Robert Zink, at all costs, even if this means innocent children may be further endangered.

The Golden Dawn Flame War

Recent days have seen a renewal of the ongoing Golden Dawn Flame wars on usenet with the publication and promotion on alt.magick of two "anonymous defamation websites", one attacking Chic and Tabatha Cicero of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, Inc®.

This first site requires little analysis as it is an obvious attempt merely to defame and degrade posing as an ad by Tabatha Cicero for prostitution to raise money for the Golden Dawn Legal Fund.

and the other one attacking David Griffin and Jean-Pascal Ruggiu, leaders of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn®.

This one is more representative of the sort of anonymous attack site we have been observing for decades now.

I am not a member of any Golden Dawn order, but have been following the Golden Dawn flamewars closely since it began nearly two decades ago. I will attempt to cut through the rhetoric and hype by the various factions and present an account of both sides of the relevant items of discussion, followed by my conclusions upon objectively weighing all available information.

To begin with, this is a decades old flame war. For a history of the Golden Dawn flame wars, see Mara Bellings excellent post on this subject.

I must unfortunately point out that there is one person in the Golden Dawn Community has been conclusively linked directly to publishing "anonymous defamation websites, using them as a negative marketing tool:

Robert Zink was linked to the anonymously published attack websites when he slipped up by advertising one such negative website from his Golden Dawn Blog - in the entry dated Saturday, February 12, 2005 - linking to a defamation site attacking David Griffin and the HOGD.

Once it became apparent that this blog entry directly linked Robert Zink to the negative websites, Mr. Zink removed the entry, in what to me seems like an attempt to cover up his tracks.

Before the blog was sanitized, however many people (including myself) downloaded the entry. Here is one copy where you can read the original blog entry.

Who is Robert Zink anyway?

Robert Zink claims to have 30 years experience with the Golden Dawn. According to his ex-wife, Sonya Niemann Zink, however, the two of them decided to start a Golden Dawn order when Robert bought Israel Regardie's books in 1991. According to Sonya Neiman Zink, neither of them were ever initiated into the Golden Dawn, but founded the order using a Oija Board with Zink chanelling an entity he calls X. Robert Zink then invented something he calls "Astral Initiation" where a candidate meditates while a ritual happens for a mass of students on the other end of the world. This has no root at all in Golden Dawn tradition.

Zink originally called his order the Eternal Golden Dawn, then the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn International, then Hermetic Order of the Morning Star, and today the Hermetic Order of the Morning Star, dba the Esoteric Order of the Golden Dawn.

Robert Zink operates a marketing business from which he attempts to sell seminars, CDs, and New Age trinkets from the following websites:

Regarding the new anonymous defamation websites from last few days, logic dictates that the group with most to gain by defaming both the Ciceros and Griffin is Robert Zink's Esoteric Order of the Golden Dawn. From where I sit, it looks like Zink and his Esoteric Golden Dawn are up to their old tricks again.

So, what is this Golden Dawn flame war all about anyway?

The real root of the problem appears to be a dispute about Golden Dawn initiation, as follows:

a) David Griffin and the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn® argue that traditional Golden Dawn Initiation in physical temples is important and should not be abandoned.

b) Chic Cicero and the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, Inc.® argues that traditional Golden Dawn initiation in physical temples is not necessary and can be replaced by "Self-Initiation" , guided meditation as is taught in Cicero's "Self-Initiation" book. It is interesting that Chic Cicero admits that he is only self-initiated himself in a private email reproduced here.

c) Robert Zink and the Esoteric Order of the Golden Dawn also argues that traditional Golden Dawn initiation in physical temples is not necessary and has replaced it with "Astral Initiation" also called "Long Distance Initiation" where people are told to meditate while a ritual happens on the other side of the world.

So how did the flame war get started?

1) The flames really started getting hot when Robert Zink published arrest documents from Columbus Georgia, showing that Cicero has a history of arrest for domestic violence and on weapons charges. He also alleges that Cicero once owned a strip club and was dishonorably discharged from the Army on violence charges. 2) Chic Cicero responded by revealing that Robert Zink is a known Sexual Predator and that Robert Zink is guilty of raping Rafaela Pulera (according to California law) , the underaged 15 year old daughter of Rita Pulera, then one of one of Zink's Esoteric Order of the Golden Dawn members.

a) Robert Zink first responded by denying these serious allegations.

b) Chic Cicero then replied by publishing the following post from the underaged victim's mother, Rita Pulera:

c) Robert Zink followed up by publicly attacking the Rita Pulera, attempting to undermine the Mother's credibility.

d) Rita Pulera, the Mother in indignation, then published as proof the birth certificate of the illegitimate child that Zink sired when he raped the victim, Rafaela Pulera, who was only 15 when he first raped her and 16 when he inpregnated herher. The victim dropped out of St. Mary's high school and still has not been able to complete her education. As proof, the birth certificate of the child sired by sexual predator Robert Zink on victim, Rafaela Pulera, can be viewed here.

These Golden Dawn flame wars have been flaring up periodically on alt.magick and elsewhere ever since and are routinely accompanied by the promotion of extremely unethical and disgusting "anonymous attack websites". For example, one such website included the private name and address of David Griffin's parents, advertising their home as a house of prostitution. Just recently, another one appeared, publishing the private address and phone number of Chic and Tabatha Cicero and posing as an ad by Tabatha Cicero for prostitution with Chic Cicero as here pimp.

Further evidence of Robert Zink's guilt in the defamation of other leaders of other Golden Dawn orders is easily confirmed on Robert Zink's own EOGD forum (groups.yahoo.com/group/Golden-Dawn-Forum-World-Wide) where a search of forum archives, for example, for the search term "Griffin" yields 1122 defamatory posts attacking David Griffin and the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn!

Conclusion: A defamatory post or two, here and there, might be somewhat normal, but over one thousand posts? From where I sit, this is clear and compelling evidence of an ongoing, orchestrated defamation campaign of leaders of other orders being waged by Robert Zink and his Esoteric Order of the Golden Dawn. Combined with the fact that Robert Zink has been conclusively and undeniably connected with at least one anonomous defamation website ... the evidence becomes overwhelming.

So is there any other evidence that Robert Zink and his EOGD are also behind these latest defamatory websites? The themes included in the new site attacking Griffin perfectly mirror attacks contsined on the EOGD site itself. For example, the new site attacking Griffin attacks his views that teachings on sacred sexuality are part of core Golden Dawn teachings. (Note that Robert Zink has more of a prudish, fundamentalist Christian slant in his EOGD, and Zink has attacked Griffin's views on sacred sexuality many times bnefore including on Zink's own website.

Here are both sides of the sexuality discussion, in Griffin and Zink's own words:

David Griffin replied on the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn website.

Conclusion: Since Robert Zink is the ONLY person who has ever been linked to the defamatory sites, and since the new site perfectly mirrors the arguments on Zink's EOGD site, the smoking gun for the new anonymous defamatioin websites seems clear enough to me.

Let us continue to examine both sides of the discussion on the other issues raised on the new defamtory site:

For example, the new anon site gives what I consider limited and very biased biographical information about two HOGD leaders, David Griffin and Jean-Pascal Ruggiu. On the other side of the story, here is a very different biography of David Griffin and here is a very different biography of Jean-Pascal Ruggiu.

The new defamatory website goes on to claim "Griffin has no lineage." Since it is known that Robert Zink indeed has no legitimate connection to the Golden Dawn, this sounds like sour grapes. It should be noted that Robert Zink has made this allegation many times in the past on his EOGD website as well. This is further indication of a Robert Zink authorship of the new attack website. Interestingly, althoug Robert Zink alleges that Griffin has no lineage, Zink offers no PROOF - only an empty assertion of a personal and obviously biased opinion.

On the other hand, David Griffin and the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn have thoroughly documented their various lineages in great detail here and here.

The attack website (again mirroring Robert Zink's own EOGD site, then goes on to claim that David Griffin was expelled from Chic Cicero's order. On the other side of the discussion, it is comon knowledge in the esoteric community that David Griffin was never a member Chic Cicero's temple, but rather of Cris Monnatre's temple, and that what really happenned was a schism between Cicero and Monnastre commonly called the "The Golden Dawn Pizza Schism of 1994".

Apparently, this schism was provoked when Chic Cicero allegedly had a loud, angry, public outburst at Griffin over ordering pizza, screaming at the top of his lungs "if you don't want pepperoni pizza then get the hell out of here." Monnastre then sternly admonished Cicero, `"Chic Cicero, don't you ever embarrass me like that in front of my temple members again." Monnastre left in a huff taking Griffin with her. Cicero then allegedly lied to his order members that Monnastre had allegedly "resigned". Griffin sided with Monnastre in the ensuing schsim and hired Stuart MacKenzie, who successfully represented the OTO against Marcello Motta and reached a settlement agreement with Cicero. My conclusion: This sounds like more sour grapes, flame war propaganda to me.

The attack website then goes on to allege: "Griffin's Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn has no temples".

Once again - this is merely a declarative statement and that no substantiation whatsoever is offered!

On the other hand, one of the Hierophants of one of the Griffin's HOGD temples recently refuted this allegation presenting substantiating evidence of the existance of physical HOGD temples. Also, here is HOGD's own article on their temples.

The anonymous defamation website continues with the argument:

Since Griffin was initiated by Cicero (an inaccurate, see above) and Cicero was initiated by Regardie, then Griffin is claiming lineage by Regardie.

This unsubstantiated assertion is highly problematic. There no mention whatsoever of any sort of Regardie lineage on Griffin's HOGD's lineage page, even though it does go into great detail about their lineages. Most importantly, they actually even debunk the myth of a Regardie lineage.

Concluson: This too is just more sour grapes propaganda.

Finally, the defamation website states that "Griffin does not mention any lineage through Cicero" and that the HOGD®'s attorney, Jorge Hevia, has been attacking everyone legally. Actually, publically available court documents reveal the contrary. Here they are.

1) Legal Aggression: An examination of the above linked court documents reveals that was in fact Chic Cicero's order at plaintiff that sued Griffin's order and attempted to prevent Griffin's from continuing to call itself Golden Dawn in the USA.

2) The terms of the settlement agreement prohibit Griffin and Cicero from even mentioning one another.

Conclusion: The items about Legal Agression and not Griffin's mentioning any lineage from Cicero are also clearly just more sour grapes propaganda of the sort so typical for this flame war.

The negative website also is highly critical of David Griffin's "Ritual Magic Manual." Again, however, no substantiating evidence is presented other than a link to Aaron Leitsch's negative review (kheph777.tripod.com/rev_rmm.html) of this book.

On the other side of this story, HOGD long ago published a refutation by David Griffin of this review by Aaron Leitsch, which seems completely biased and not at all objective, since Leitsch is the secretary of Chic Cicero's Golden Dawn corporation. Leitsche's office on the Cicero board is verifiable at sunbiz.org, operated by the Florida State Board of Corporations.

Conclusion: A negative book review written by an officer of a competing order can hardly be considered credible ... and its inclusion on the attack website seems from where I sit like just more sour grapes.

My overall conclusion: The negative websites, upon careful examination, appears to have little or no credibility. All appearances indicate that the new negative websites attacking Chic Cicero and David Griffin are the handiwork of Robert Zink and the Esoteric Order of the Golden Dawn, which appear to be waging Golden Dawn flamewar for propaganda and marketing purposes for nearly two decades now.
